Never Did I Ever

Never did I ever think I would be crewing my wife Hannah at a trail race. But that’s exactly what happened this weekend. Hannah, and a handful of other GAIN people took on the Big A 50k course at Mount Agamenticus in Maine.

Many runners took on 3 loops for a full 50k, and some like Hannah, did two loops of the course for a solid 20ish miles with plenty of climbing on technical trails. It was her longest run ever!

The beauty of trail running (and of the gym) is that it can take you places you didn’t think you could go. It can show you that you can to things you thought were impossible.

Hannah, I’m proud of you for sticking to the plan, having big goals and going for it. Congrats to everyone else who took on that tough course this weekend!
