How It works
We use a semi-private training model.
This means each member gets individual attention.
We warm up as a group, and from there you and the other members complete your workout at your own station, at your own pace.
Each member uses their own equipment - no sharing.
We track your progress and plan out each of your training sessions in advance.
Coaches provide understanding, modify workouts based on how you’re feeling and keep an eye on your form.
Who it’s For
We’re good at making people feel better. The general focus of all our training plans is to build real-world strength safely, improve mobility, stability, and balance, and upgrade your cardio.
You’ll always have a coach’s eye on you when executing your plan. We’re there to warm you up, provide accountability and are experts in all things strength and conditioning. It’s our passion, and we love sharing it with you.
Gain was founded in 2014. Justin realized that there was an underserved population in the fitness industry. People in their 50s and 60s weren’t exposed to real strength and conditioning, or athletic-style training.
If they had experienced it, it was often with poor coaching and even worse planning. Justin created a space for people to learn how to deadlift, squat, bench press, do pull-ups, throw medicine balls, and do it with other people united by the same goal – get better so life outside the gym is easier.
From there we grew. While our biggest client demographic is people in their 50s and 60s, we now have college students, 30-somethings, lots of runners, CrossFitters, and people in their 80s – it’s how our community was built, a shared space for people to chase their health and fitness goals.
Everyone at Gain has one goal that unites them; they want to improve themselves. This creates an inviting culture and strong community.
